Organization Description
Turning Point Center (formerly Rehab Mission, Inc.) is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) organization. The goal here is to return elderly homeless people back into society as self-sufficient individuals. For 26 years, we have served over 10,500 elderly homeless men and women. Turning Point Center provides the basic essentials such as shelter, food, clothing and rehabilitative services for men and women that are over fifty. The rehabilitative services provided include counseling, structured living conditions, job training and social skills needed to re-enter society’s mainstream as a self-sufficient and productive member.

Description of Internship

Interns will put together treatment plans that cover personal goals, medical evaluations as well as mental health evaluations. All interactions will need to be documented for training and grading.

Criteria for Interns
All interns must be 18 or older. Must be able to pass drug screening and back ground check. All Social Science majors are welcome.
