Policy Statement Development Process

UHD policies are developed and revised in accordance with PS 01.A.01, University of Houston-Downtown Policy and Procedure System,  and PS 01.A.03, Academic Shared Governance Policy.

If you have a substantive question about a policy statement, please contact the subject matter expert responsible for the policy statement. If you would like assistance with revising an existing policy statement, developing a new policy statement, or finding out the subject matter expert of a particular policy statement, contact [email protected].

  3. Are PS's the only policies that apply to UHD employees?

    No, in addition to Policy Statements, Board of Regents policies, System Administrative Memoranda (SAMs), and various department/division policies, programs, guidelines and procedures are also applicable.
